Finally, bake your pizza in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
Tips for baking homemade pizza
If you’re using a conventional oven to bake your pizza, be aware that the heat isn’t usually evenly distributed in this type of oven . As the heat tends to rise, we recommend that you place your pizza at the bottom of the oven for better cooking .
If your oven allows it, it is advisable to choose the convection cooking mode , thus allowing the heat to circulate throughout the oven evenly. Select a high temperature: 250°C is the ideal temperature . It is advisable to preheat your oven before putting the pizza in the oven . Once the right temperature has been reached, place your pizza in it and do not open the door until the end of cooking in order to properly retain the high temperature inside.
It is also possible to cook a pizza in a pan , even if this cooking method is not the best suited. To do this, prepare your pizza dough , roll it out, and place it in a very hot pan. Cover the pan and let the dough cook over low heat for about ten minutes , then turn it over and let it cook again for another 10 minutes . You can then cover your dough with tomato sauce , and place your filling on it, extending the cooking time to let the cheese melt .
